A five-party scientific, technological and executive cooperation agreement has been concluded between Geodad Company, Intelligent Geo-Mine, the UNESCO Chair on Coastal Geo-Hazard Analysis, Barsad Shid Iranian Co. and Zamin Fanavaran Naft Asia Co.
The agreement is aimed at building synergy in scientific research and joint projects that combine the earth sciences with modern spatial data technologies. Its stated objectives are the monitoring and analysis of coastal geological hazards, climate change and drought using unmanned aerial vehicle surveying, LiDAR data processing and photogrammetry; the development of digital twins and three-dimensional models of urban, coastal and archaeological environments for geological and environmental assessment; and the development of spatial databases and artificial intelligence platforms for analysing remote sensing data in geological, environmental and geo-archaeological applications.
